Sexual Fluidity?

Even Their Women...

Recent studies show how more and more women are leaving men to pursue lesbian relationships with women. In a trend being called "sexual fluidity", women are experiencing "new freedoms" to go back and forth between heterosexual and homosexual relationships.

According to Lisa Diamond, author of the book Sexual Fluidity: Understanding Women's Love and Desire, "Fluidity represents a capacity to respond erotically in unexpected ways due to particular situations or relationships. It doesn't appear to be something a woman can control." Researchers say that this phenomenon seems to be more prevalent with women than with men.

Fittingly, the Oprah.com site has featured this groundbreaking development as a story in its O Magazine entitled, "Why Women Are Leaving Men for Other Women." A focal point of the article is the personal story of a female celebrity who decided to publicly end her years-long relationship with her boyfriend (whom she had never married) in favor of a lesbian relationship. No, we don't mean Oprah & Gayle...but Cynthia Nixon of Sex and the City.

My prayer would be that the everyone who considers themselves to be a member of the Body of Christ realize that none of this is happening by chance. The over-emphasis on sex in the media is an attempt to dramatically shift the moral compass of society so that perversion becomes the norm...and it is working.

As stated in The Worship of Baal-Peor post, a spirit of whoredoms and abominations is being released in great measure in these last days. But this is no reason to be alarmed. It is all foretold. On the contrary, this is the prime opportunity to examine where you are in the faith and to get ready for the battle at hand. The Day of our Lord draws nigh, and that is a time to look forward with expectant hope while fully dressed in the spiritual armor of God.

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature." Romans 1:26

  2. Hi Kyle!
I forgot to tell you that we have a new email address. I'll send that to you since I no longer check the other one.

We are doing fine and I pray that you are too! :-)

    Ms. Butterfly,
You are so right in that it is the Word which is going to keep us and sanctify us as we meditate on it. We need that washing of the water by the word to cleanse us and allow us to receive more of God's Spirit within.

I pray that God will keep you in all things!
