Doors in Life

The following is taken from the Ewe-4Chist blog.

Doors in Life

"I know thy works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it:for thou has little strength, and had kept  my word and hast not denied my name." -Revelation 3:8

We serve a God that opens doors that no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open.

So if we have an open door we are to stay there till the Lord moves us. Honestly, it can be hard sometimes to tell if the "door" to something is opend or closed, whether we are suppose to go right or left. But even when it seems like we are all alone and don't know where to go, we must remember the Lord will guide our steps (Prov. 16:9). As long as we follow the Lord and seek Him he will be our guide.

There will be plenty of times where doors will open and close in our life, starting new journeys. So we must stay faithful to the Lord, and get to know Him for ourself. If we want to hear from the Lord and know His will for our life we must seek Him (1Chronicles 16:11). He wants us to draw closer to Him each day, if we invite Him in He will enter (Revelations 3:20).

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Lord, thank-you for everything you do in my life. I know there are times I take you for granted so please forgive me. You can have my hopes and dreams , I want to follow your will for my life. Guide me Lord Jesus and help me to put all my trust in you 100% not 80, not 99 but my all in all into your hands. Help me to grow closer to you each day. I can never thank-you enough for all that is given me. Thank -you Lord!

In Jesus Name,
Amen
