By that, I mean one's physical lineage has no bearing on salvation. Even the physical descendants of Israel need to turn in faith in Christ - where there is no longer Jew nor Gentile.

I also believe that we are in the latter days. Specifically that the seven year peace treaty with Israel and the surrounding Arab countries will begin the seven years of tribulation. This doesn't mean that all natural Israelites are in Israel (or that all in Israel are natural Israelites), but it means that God's timetable is on track to unfold end time sequences.

God Bless!Latter Days Ministryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405696673350225699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-4989001725894412472010-12-23T12:20:43.358-05:002010-12-23T12:20:43.358-05:00Hello ElderChild,
While it is true that there is ...Hello ElderChild,

While it is true that there is a spiritual Israel composed of people who have been reborn spiritually into that seed, there is still - in the same New Covenant (as shown above in the article) - a reference to the physical seed of Israel who is still God's "beloved" (Romans 11:28).

We must receive the whole counsel of God's word and not just cling to what we like and ignore what we don't. Those who proclaim that the physical seed of Israel are no longer recognized by God are in error. An error easily cleared up when we review the Scriptures, including the New Testament.Latter Days Ministryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405696673350225699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-21137796071488344212010-12-23T11:42:39.254-05:002010-12-23T11:42:39.254-05:00The NEW Covenant was prophesied in Jer 31:31-37.
...The NEW Covenant was prophesied in Jer 31:31-37.

And The NEW Covenant established The Truth that, "he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, whose circumcision is that of the flesh, he is a Jew who is one inwardly, whose circumcision is of the heart" as he was immersed in, of, by and through The Holy, Set Apart Spirit that is of The ONE and Only True G-D, Father(Creator) of ALL. But, you speak about Israel here and how they are still YHWH's chosen. Do you believe the people living in Israel now who say they are jews are those people spoken of by the Bible as the chosen of God? Just curious.Count down has begunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05470683425002288693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-44529097103807553672010-10-27T08:31:36.747-04:002010-10-27T08:31:36.747-04:00Hello Anonymous,
First, please know that the web ...Hello Anonymous,

First, please know that the web page you listed comes up as being a potential "attack page" which can harm computers. So I cannot view it. I have also deleted your comment in order to protect our visitors who may also attempt to view it.

However, I have pasted your comments below (without the web link) in order to respond:

On your forum, which is now closed you speak about Randy Shankle's book the Merismos. Randy has now turned his church to a cult. Check out my blog for more info and evidence, however as for the book, there are some errors, but is mostly good, I discuss those errors here: [deleted]

I highly suggest removing your Forum page on Randy and his book, his church is full of death and sickness (lots of cancer) because of the judgment there.

I have no personal knowledge of Randy Shankle or his ministry. This is why the Overview Page for that section of the Board says the following:

The Ministry references we have reviewed enough to be comfortable recommending outright.

As for the Book references, please do not assume that a listing here means we support any other works or ministries by that person. It is simply a referral for that particular work.

Merismos is listed under the "Books" section and therefore should only be considered an endorsement of that work and nothing more. I don't expect any work to be error-free with the exception of Scripture, yet I too have found Merismos to be very good in laying out foundational truths on the Christian journey.

As for the rest, I will certainly keep that congregation and Randy Shankle himself in prayer. No one is guaranteed that they cannot go astray, so if your testimony is true (again, of which I have no personal knowledge), then it ought to be a warning to us all to keep our focus on Jesus and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

Thank you and God Bless!Latter Days Ministryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405696673350225699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-81686166197123131562010-10-27T03:56:59.989-04:002010-10-27T03:56:59.989-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-11415801874406580652010-10-26T19:20:53.529-04:002010-10-26T19:20:53.529-04:00Great article.
