According to this thought, man is the center of everything; man is his own god. "

This reflects greatly the offer Satan submitted to Eve, where you see the "woman" no longer seeking the approval of her bridegroom but seeking to be freed from His authority.

"Man's fall came from not submitting to authority. Eve did not check with Adam; she made the decision. She saw that the fruit was good for food and pleasant to the eyes, so she took liberty and made the decision herself. Before she stretched forth her hand to pick the fruit, she first used her head to think and receive the temptation. Then she assumed the headship by stretching forth her hands. Hence, the taking of the fruit by Eve did not come from submission. Rather, it came from the decision of the self. Not only did she transgress God's commandment, she also disregarded Adam's authority. Rebellion against God's authority is rebellion against God Himself. Adam listened to Eve's word and took of the fruit. This was worse; it was in disobedience to God's direct command. As a result, Adam also disregarded God's authority and was rebellious. - Watchman Nee "Authority and Submission"Hanniel Kohenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10748491727371983371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-87394200481208831582013-11-09T12:38:37.991-05:002013-11-09T12:38:37.991-05:00Hi Bro. If hostility against Christ has such vitriol in polished, political interviews, I am sure it is much less filtered face-to-face on the streets. It is quickly going to be more important to protect the rights of those who don't want to hear God's word than it will be to protect freedom of speech. If public prayer is considered an "aggressive imposition" on non-believers, we don't have far to go.

I thank God for you and others who are not ashamed to stand for our Lord in such conditions. May we all be counted so worthy.Latter Days Ministryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405696673350225699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-6522757340204173462013-11-09T00:47:45.071-05:002013-11-09T00:47:45.071-05:00Thanks for posting this, Sis. As I street preach at various events, I'm noticing that many law enforcement officers are growing more and more antagonistic toward the gospel. Instead of protecting a street preacher's constitutional rights to freedom of speech, they are becoming more aggressively quick to shut down the preaching. Please pray for us as we boldly preach the life-changing, eternal gospel of Jesus Christ in the open air around the nation. God bless!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01336281682715943955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-40453435856549687172013-11-08T13:39:41.444-05:002013-11-08T13:39:41.444-05:00That's a shame I hope you can find a way to h...That's a shame I hope you can find a way to host the website directly.Margaret Nahmiashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960468465926247588noreply@blogger.com
