Notice Satsn has these people killing many then the vessel he has stolen to do the horrific deed, he kills, and in turn destrys for eternity. Steal...kill...destroy... I keep telling people that these people doing these things are demonically inspired and or taken over. Same as the football player a couple of weeks ago that shot himself after killing his kid's mother. Yet when I say this people think I am extreme. However Satan doesnt change his tactics.
Unfortunately more of this will happen for a couple of reasons. One, Satan's time is drawing to a close. So he is speeding his game up. Two, the people have turned to false gods (islam, buddism, me-ism which is satanism at its basic form....doing what you want and being your own god) and as a result we see homosexuality becoming the norm (death) and carnage like this. I am upset by it all which is why i cry out to Jesus for mercy and to the people around me where i live to turn from it all. God bless you LDM and thanks for your blog. I send it to many people that i talk to on and offlinekgorenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-70558318124050077192012-12-17T06:51:57.012-05:002012-12-17T06:51:57.012-05:00If you'd rather not post my question, heres my...If you'd rather not post my question, heres my email. Indeed, this is a tragedy. H...President Obama wept. Indeed, this is a tragedy. However I did ponder the Obama's hypocrisy (and largely that of our nation); in that we weep over the death of school aged children, but not those killed in their mother's womb-which averages a higher number in Newton than those lost in the school shooting.

I also read a few comments from Newton's residents, stating "today, evil visited our town." As if it were not there all along? Does not the scriptures say "the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one" 1 John 5:19? Does evil now only have "part time" visitation rights in some locales-even if the people are not regenerated? Perhaps whoever qouted that statment has a misconception about what evil is. All too often, we acknowledge outward sins (killing, violence, robbery, drugs, etc), but overlook sins of the heart (greed, jealousy, pride, covetousness). No town is immune to evil! It's resides everywhere! Newton is wealthy; strong middle to upper class, median income $90,000. But wealth, good schools, nice neighborhoods, manicured lawns, a town's good reputation, etc does not make any area insusceptible to evil; spiritual warfare still wages.

I say this at the risk of sounding insensitive to the grief of Newton's victims. I am not. My heart grieves, and I pray for them that many will turn to Christ and find salvation, healing, hope, and comfort. Yet this tragedy exhorts me even more to place my security in Christ and focus on the eternal because life is so fleeting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-89541217245129363952012-12-16T13:56:41.789-05:002012-12-16T13:56:41.789-05:00Hi Anonymous,

There is deliverance in Jesus' name, even for the tortured soul and the demonically oppressed.

Many will look at this shooter and recognize the operations of demons, but how many can see the same in the broader population who look outwardly presentable as acceptable members of society?

In the story of the Gadarene demoniac, it was the one who was visibly insane who cried out to Jesus for mercy & deliverance, while the seemingly sane town's folk asked Jesus to leave their land (Luke 8:22-39). Now tell me who was the truly demon possessed ones in that story?

Many may very well be surprised about who is saved and who is not in the end of the matter (I Cor. 4:5). I am not saying this shooter is saved or is not. I do not know. Did he do things worthy of damnation? Yup. Yet according to the Scriptures we all have, for all have sinned. I am just saying that we all have a choice to make, and I pray we choose wisely.

Not arguing with your thoughts here; just sharing some thoughts of my own. :-)

God Bless!Latter Days Ministryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405696673350225699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-793573695603056525.post-34284053175433888692012-12-16T13:02:49.523-05:002012-12-16T13:02:49.523-05:00And the really sad part about the shooting is not ...And the really sad part about the shooting is not the death of the children who I believe have all gone with the Lord.(And this is not to down play the pain these families are feeling). But the shooter is the person we should really be sad about because he has lost his chance for salvation. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
