How Humanism Dehumanizes

In Lockstep with The Beast

"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." Revelation 17:1-3

In Revelation, John receives an angelic vision about the end time judgment of the great whore who is seen riding a red-colored beast. It is widely understood that the whore and beast symbolize the harlot church and world governmental systems respectively. Yet there is also a spiritual significance that gives us insight into the condition of man in these end times.

In the beginning and on the sixth day, God created man and set Adam to have dominion over the earth under the leadership of God's Spirit. Eve (Chavvah, meaning life) was created to be a help unto Adam; a life giver both in the sense of her nurturing nature as well as in a literal sense in bringing forth life into the earth.

We know that Eve was eventually deceived by Satan and that she brought Adam into this deception as well. What was the crux of Satan's persuasion? You shall be a god, knowing good and evil for yourselves. They could do away with God and be the master of their own domains; deciding for themselves their own destiny and morality. 

The result was the fall of man. Through sin, mankind became the opposite of what God created. No longer led by the Spirit of God, they were cut off from God and enveloped in iniquity. This breach was so great that Adam & Eve had to be banished from the Garden of Eden and were placed under a curse for their disobedience. 

Here in fallen man we see the spiritual birth of what is shown in John's vision. That which God gave to be life to man became death; and that which was to be Godly authority became corrupt. Fallen Eve and Adam typify the spirits behind the end time harlot church and world government systems.

The Number of His Name

The beast is a spiritual presentation of fallen man. The root for the word adam means "red or ruddy" based on the red earth that was used to create man. Notice that in the end time vision, the whore is riding on a red-colored beast. 

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six." Revelation 13:18

The number six in Scripture often signifies man since mankind was created on the 6th day. With a number of 666, the beast represents a person whose nature is completely self-absorbed. All parts of man are focused on exalting himself; his soul (6), his spirit (6), and his body (6) - hence 666.

Even non-Christians are aware of a physical "mark of the beast". However, the Bible says that one can receive the mark, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of his name (Revelation 13:17). Fallen man already has the number of the beast because fallen man is selfish by nature and is thereby thinking only of himself (666). In this condition, there is no physical, outward mark necessary; the mark is reflected in man's fallen, unconverted nature.

In this fallen state, all that matters is what man thinks, wants, and feels. Man becomes the standard and anything that contradicts what man wants is wrong. As Scripture says, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves..." (II Timothy 3:1-2a). The beast of fallen man is simply the attempted realization of that lie shared with Eve in the Garden: You shall be a god, knowing good and evil for yourselves.

Do What Thou Wilt

Satanist/occultist Aleister Crowley founded a religion (Thelema) which was based on one concept: Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. In this mindset, the only morality is man doing what he feels is right for himself. While serving as a major component of Luciferianism, this ideology also has a more mainstream terminology: humanism.

Humanism: A system of thought that rejects religious beliefs and centers on humans and their values, capacities, and worth.

Our president, Barack Obama, seems to hold a similar humanistic viewpoint. In his view, no religion is right or wrong and all are valid paths to God. No one can say what God has said with any authority or absolute certainty. According to Obama, our laws should not even be based on Godly standards of right or wrong because such standards are subjective - as is God. In fact, religion's most important value is its ability to help us become who we want to be. How we treat other humans then is the true witness to our moral character not our obedience to God.

To the world, this is a very loving and tolerant response. Why shouldn't we welcome all humans regardless of our beliefs or differences? Why shouldn't we show respect for the value and life that each human possesses by doing away with such juvenile and oppressive dictates from a purported God?

Yet, in embracing the value of each life, this same theological construct justifies the killing of unborn children. How can humanism on one hand celebrate man's life and on the other hand support cold-blooded murder? How can Obama's humanistic concerns sway him to close Guantanamo Bay and come out strongly against torture, yet approve the pulling apart limb by limb of innocent children in the womb?

When faced with a real choice to respect human life, the humanist places more importance on the "right" of the woman to do as she chooses (do what thou wilt). This pulls the cover off of the humanistic claim towards valuing mankind and shows it to be the self-serving ideology that it is. Under a cloak of humanism, man can make himself the center of the universe and call it tolerance, diversity, and love. Man can claim to be altruistic as he does what he wants to do. There is the unspoken agreement, you do what you want, I will do what I want, and there is no talk of sin or God.

This is nothing but the proliferation of that same age-old lie: You shall be a god, knowing good and evil for yourselves. Remember, the Bible shows that this deification of man is an illustration of the beast.

"These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Revelation 17:13

Just as in the days of Jesus Christ, in the end times we will see an unholy conspiracy between the religious and governmental systems as they come together with one purpose: to eradicate Jesus Christ from the world. This time, it will not be the person of Jesus Christ who is their enemy, but the body of believers who have been conformed into the image of Christ.

The harlot church, under the guise of ecumenicalism, is downgrading the Gospel and forming allegiances with all religions - even with those who outright deny Jesus Christ. In doing so, it is joining itself to idols. Now more than ever you will experience an oppressive spiritual force coming against the Church to try and force Christians to forget this Jesus stuff. Talk about God. Talk about the Creator. Talk about this Great Energy, but don't name the name of Jesus.

Don't buy into the lie of humanism, which lifts up the will of fallen man in a false show of humility and compassion. Hold out for, and on to, that which is true. Left to his own devises - without the protection, guidance, and sanctification in Christ - man is nothing but a beast.
