Thou Art the Man!

"And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, as the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die: And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.

Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things. 

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? Thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun." II Samuel 12:5-12

It is times like these when I wish I had a bridge to sell, for there seem to be numerous people ready to buy it.  All it took was for there to be a public announcement that Osama Bin Laden was killed, and folks are celebrating in the streets.  Are you kidding me??

It is reported that Osama Bin Laden is behind 9/11, and everyone believes it.  It is reported that he has been found & killed, and people start rejoicing.  Want to see a body?  Oh, I am sorry; it was already disposed of in the sea.

I am not saying that Bin Laden is not dead; after all, there been "reports" of his dieing/death for the past several years.  I am simply noticing what good little puppets many have become.  We are so accustomed to swallowing what we are fed, that there is no longer even a second taken to process or digest the information given or examine evidence.  We simply hear it and assume it is true because "they" said so.  Has anyone ever heard of the War of the Worlds radio broadcast?

Tell me people, if God said that we are "more noble" to test for truth that which is spoken about Him (even by His own apostles), then shouldn't we at least be as circumspect in regards to words about men? (Acts 17:11)  Are the words of men more trustworthy - and therefore require less scrutiny - than the words of God?  Foolishness!

Yet, some will say that even questioning the veracity of world reports makes one a "conspiracy theorist".  I tell you that the Scriptures say the god of this world is the father of lies! (John 8:44; II Corinthians 4:4)  Do you really believe that??

Again, I am not saying that Bin Laden is alive; such matters not as we will all see death one day.  I am urging people to stop being so quick to put more trust in flesh than is placed in the word of God.  Don't be so quick to believe, internalize, and act upon what you hear, but by God's Spirit seek a revelation of truth for what we need to know in this hour.  And that goes for everything.  The one recurring theme that God uses to describe the end times is deception; and that is for a reason. 

The issue is not really about whether a particular claim is true. The point is to be unmovable and unmoved until we hear from the Lord.

Nonetheless, such a turn of events could represent a significant moment in the history of the world...but perhaps not for the reasons that one may think.   Pastor Gary C. Price of Omega Church & Ministries Center put it this way:

Saints this is the final straw that broke the camel's back.  As thousands of Americans flow into the streets to celebrate the killing of the iconic figure "Osama Bin Laden", don't be too quick to rejoice.  The killing of an accused murderer - who allegedly killed 3000 Americans on 9/11 - also pronounces the final judgment on this nation. 

The same United States that has killed a supposed "mass murderer" has also legalized the murder of 53 million baby Americans in their mother's wombs.  Every year 1.7 million babies are slaughtered in this nation and the same people rejoicing in the streets because Osama Bin Laden is dead say absolutely nothing about the murder of these defenseless babies.

So now, spiritual forces have been put in motion to bring final judgment to this nation.  We can expect severe supernatural occurrences since we celebrated the death of this man and everyone rejoices over his death; not because Osama Bin Laden is a righteous man, but because the same government that killed him has also killed 53 million Americans. 

When David killed Uriah in the Scriptures, God let David pronounce his own penalty on himself.  God killed David's first born son as a result of David's killing an innocent man like Uriah.  Uriah was Bathsheba's husband and David had committed adultery with her, conceiving a child.  That child had to die because of King David's sin. 

We have just witnessed a nation pronouncing final judgment upon itself and most don't even know what has happened.  When you killl a man for killing Americans and you have also killed 53 million Americans, then the judgment has been finalized and God has already moved to execute His decrees

Pastor Price says that a young lady approached him after services on Sunday saying that the Lord showed her how God was going to move swiftly to judge America (in earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, and fires) according to His words in Nahum Chapter 1.

"The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.   He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

Who can stand before his indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.  Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.  For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder."

And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.  Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace!

O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off. " Nahum Chapter 1:1-15

It is certainly true that we open our own selves up for judgment when we act as hypocrites, judging others in areas where we ourselves are guilty.  The U.S. claims to stand for justice in pursuing one they claim is guilty of murder, while the blood of its citizens flow freely down its own skirts (Jeremiah 2:34).  What utter hypocrisy!!  As Jesus stated regarding such, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."  (Matthew 7:2)

If we are looking for inhumane murderers, terrorists upon the innocents, and those whose dastardly deeds simply turn the stomachs of decent men & women, then America, "Thou art the man!"

I leave you with some final words from Pastor Price, "God has promised to keep us and to free us from this present day Babylonian captivity and fill us with His Spirit in the midst of trying times. Continue in prayer and watch."
