A Progressive Civilization

The prominence of homosexuality in society is a direct barometer of the inroads that Satan is making into the very fabric of humanity.

When we begin to see the plagues of out of control children, men who shirk responsibility, and women who strive to be the leaders in society, you can rest assured that this is the curse of the upside down kingdom in manifestation. Let's look at the chain of causes and effects as outlined in previous posts.

God leads man through his spirit; the spirit imparts Godly governance to the soul, which is then able to manifest the life of God through the body. Sin causes man's soul to be inverted, thereby supressing his spirit and preventing him from receiving Godly direction. Cut off from God, man becomes the opposite of what he was created to be and the soul can then only receive input from the fleshly, carnal, and demonic realm. When you pervert the order of mankind (which is a reflection of God Himself), you come away with a perverted image of God. The result is a society of reversed roles; a society of spiritual sodomites.

There are only two types of people on the earth: those who are upright before God (the Saints) and those who are upside down (the Sodomites). And before anyone gets highminded, it should be stated that every Saint was first a Sodomite before receiving Christ. The fallen man is by nature a sodomite. It is only the grace of God that we can be anything other than the fallen, sodomite nature.

Saints (by nature) - Obey God; Submit to His Word; Hear from God; and Are led by God's Spirit.

Sodomites (by nature) - Disobey God; Rebel against His Word; Do not hear from God; and Are led by their five, carnal senses.

Saint or Sodomite. There is no in between. It is the nature we possess that determines which we are. This is why we must be born again from incorruptible seed, to become partakers of the divine nature at the expense of the Adamic nature.

There is no Saint who is "still a practicing sinner". There is no Sodomite who "loves the Lord". The yardstick measuring where we stand is the Word of God, and our obedience to it. All one has to do is look around at the times in which we live.

We live in a progressive society; one where such concepts as "gender" are passé. We can now be male, female, both, or neither based on our own choosing and self-identification. Children are allowed to follow self-determination and we ardently protect their rights to access birth control and even have abortions without parental consent. We champion the "choice" of women to kill their unborn children. We enact laws that protect homosexuality and even promote these lifestyles as normal in our eductional systems; afterall, Heather Has Two Mommies so it has to be normal, right? We have a designer drug for every disorder - real or imagined. We are encouraged by music stars, television personalities, and world-renown figures to "find our own god within". Buzzwords like tolerance and diversity are our torch leading a blazing trail into our emerging utopia.

Yes, we are progressive alright, but what we are progressing to? We are progressing towards the coronation of the King of Sodom.
