I Kill You in the Name of Allah

The Case of Rifqa Bary

There is a battle raging in Florida courts over the fate of a 17 year old girl named Rifqa Bary who has run away from home. According to Rifqa, she converted to Christianity from Islam 4 years ago after having a personal encounter with Jesus Christ...and now her life is in danger.

Although she endeavored to keep this a secret - hiding her Bible, stealing away to church meetings, praying in private - her family eventually found out. Now, she has run away from home claiming that her father has threatened to kill her in the name of Allah for this betrayal.

There is a debate about whether this is a supported practice in Islam or simply a cultural anomaly. However, a precedent for such a practice certainly does exist in the Qur'an. Mohamed tells a parable in the Qur'an about an interaction between Moses and a servant of Allah who was most knowledgable of Allah's ways.

Qur'an (translated by M.H. Shakir) Sura 18, Aya 74:
“So they [Musa & the servant of Allah] went on until, when they met a boy, he [the servant of Allah] slew him. [Musa] said: Have you slain an innocent person otherwise than for manslaughter? Certainly you have done an evil thing”

The servant of Allah later explains:

Qur'an (translated by M.H. Shakir) Sura 18, Ayat 80, 81:
“And as for the boy, his parents were believers and we feared lest he should make disobedience and ingratitude to come upon them. So we desired that their Lord might give them in his place one better than him in purity and nearer to having compassion”
This individual in the parable - who is a most knowledgeable servant of Allah - states that it was acceptable to kill this young boy for fear that he will disgrace his family. This at its core is a depiction of the "honor killing" phenomenon...and it is found in the Qur'an. The servant most knowledgeable in the ways of Allah attests that there is no redemption in Islam, only death and destruction.

Although some try to assert that the god of Islam is the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, this is patently false. Nothing makes that clearer than the very character of the God.

The True & Living God knows how to deal with the hardness of man's heart (the law), but at the same time Himself provides an avenue for redemption (mercy and grace).

The Scriptures tell a story of King Solomon's wisdom, where he commanded that a child be cut in half in order to settle a dispute between two women. The woman who was not the mother desired to have the child's life destroyed. However, the mother offered to give up the child just to save his life.

The God who makes provision for man's life to be saved is the one who is his Creator. Jesus Christ proves Himself to be the One, True, God for it is He alone who has given of Himself so that man might be saved, and not condemned.

There can be no religion of peace without the Prince of Peace. Man has tried for centuries to do things his own way, to define his own sense of morality, his own god...but he always winds up with death. Without Jesus Christ, there can be no life.

The god of Islam is patterned after the image of fallen man, and even Islam's "Heaven" is patterned after the image of fallen man. If incessant sex in the afterlife is the best that a god has to offer man, then there is no hope. According to Islamic belief, a woman has no personal value - even in the afterlife - and is merely a piece of property to be owned and used. Likewise, a man is nothing more than a lustful dog in heat unable to be satisfied. So this is Heaven? Where people are overrun by bondage and lust? This is God's eternal blessing to humanity?

There are more similarities between Catholicism and Islam than meets the eye (i.e. idolatry, sodomy, matriarchal bondage, demonic visitations presented as divine, prayer beads, man-made traditions, perverted view of the afterlife, worship of the lady "Fatima"...). False religion is false religion. Deception by any other name is still deception.

Now is the time to seek Jesus with your whole heart so that you are not led astray. Keep this young girl in prayer and may we each display the courage and conviction not to be moved from our faith in the Lord, even at the threat of death.

"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up." Psalms 27:10

  1. Thank you so much for posting this.
I become very sad when I see things like these. Where people have to die because they believe in Christ. But it says in the bible that if we suffer with Christ we will also rule with Christ (in the sense of eternal life being given to us).

Will keep the girl in my prayers.

  2. I'm sorry but I would have to say after reviewing the videos and studying all religions this video seems to be one which is false..

The media and war on terrorism is what will create a new world order. There is evil in all religions. See out of all religions the muslim people get hurt the worse.. I think we have been deceived are looking at the face value of things and not thinking spiritually what is going on. I believe all religions have been setup to worship horus and other worldly gods but everyone who are true christians (not religion) are for the same thing.

We all seek to find the one true God who has created us whether you are a muslim, christian, mormon, etc..
We have just been blinded by the truth with the systematic lies which are feed through us from education, media, etc..

The more we let them divide ourselves from the truth the more separate from our true creator.

I believe in our wonderful creator of all things which aren't materialistic. The miracle of a child, the miracle of life itself. His perfect design of earth and the whole entire world in which is Not made by man!

I hope you will think about that and not fall for the propaganda the media feeds us..

May we all seek the truth through his words and knowledge.

    God Bless you!

  3. Hi Anonymous,

You go into some detail about what you think and what you believe. Yet, what is the basis of that truth you proclaim? Who is the "god" to which you refer?

The problem with what you are saying is that there IS a One, True God and He has given us His word so that we may know Him. And you you propose is the antithesis of what God says.

Dismissing all "religion" as evil in order to unite under some generic brotherhood of man is in fact the essence of the false, one world religion you claim to be against.

Look, the only way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ. ALL other religions and belief systems are false.

If you seek the truth, then you need to submit to Him. Otherwise, you will accept the lie of a delusion as truth and be damned, according to the Scriptures.

There is NO basis for unity amongst men outside of Jesus Christ. Don't be fooled into thinking that men can just unite under a common good for God is clear that there is none good but Him. All truth must be defined and is only found in Him, not in the ideas and perceptions of man.

  4. I am a Christian but I do believe that the Islamic belief is not as corrupt as you say, the reason you say these things about other this such as the Islamic religion is because probably your entire life you were brought up a christian but never really researched study where Christianity came from. If you want to say that other religions that came before christianity is wrong then you have to say that the Jewish beliefs are wrong. However that is where christianity came from and if your a real christian you would know that Constantine a roman empire was the one who made christianity popular within the romam empire, and he wasn't even a firm believer until he was on his death bed. The Islamic belief isn't based on what your say it is you need to research more about it besides just trying to portray what the media says. That is what most Americans do they are being mind controlled by the Media and they only believe what they see they don't really walk by faith like they say they do. If your a real Christian they you can't be fooled by what people say or what the man behind the pool pit tells you. Even the bible tells you to research it and not to fall or be blinded by false prophets. The convent that God gave Abraham over Issac and not just him but also over Ismael and if you look at the society that we live in, in America you can see that christian aren't as devoted to their religion as christians in Africa or other countries around the world. Jews and Muslims are the only people that really show their devotion to God, no matter what they are doing they will stop and give thanks to God for everything, and another thing Allah is a name of God just like Jahovah, Emmanuel, Elshadi (I don't know if I spelled that right) etc... Even the Jews don't call God, God in their language its a different name so you can't criticize the Muslims for calling God Allah in their language.

  5. Hello Anonymous,

One, while this may be a label you use to define yourself, you are not a Christian. It seems as if you know very little about Christianity and more importantly Jesus Christ.

Two, the God of Christianity is the God of the Jewish faith. They are one and the same, Jehovah. However, even the Jewish people must repent and turn in faith to Jesus Christ to be saved.

Three, allah is not God. Islam is corrupt and demonic in origin and nature. It is not the same God as Jehovah.

Four, although the nations coming from Ishmael were blessed by God as well, Isaac was the son of promise and not Ishmael. The promised seed was Jesus Christ alone.

Five, "good works" means nothing because one is still dead in sin unless one has been born again through faith in Jesus Christ.

Once one truly comes to know Jesus Christ, one will understand that all else is a delusion and a lie. Jesus is the Truth. Repent and receive Him as Savior and Lord or else be damned. Those are the only choices.
