A RADICAL Disruption!

This video was shared with me today and I just have to post it. One statement made in this video just leapt off of the pages to me:

"The cross RADICALLY disrupts the very center and citadel of your life from self to Christ."

Praise God!

Has the very center, the very essence of your life been DISRUPTED so that you are no longer first, but Christ is?? No longer first in your thoughts, in your needs, in your ambitions, in your struggles, in your prayers?

The cross is not some little thing we look back to as a depiction of what Christ has done. But we are on the cross with Him.

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and takeup his cross, and follow me." Matthew 16:24

Let us not despise the cross of Jesus Christ, but embrace it. It is through the cross that we are made free from that which binds us: the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life.

"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." I Corinthians 1:18

Oh, that God would send a disruption to shake the very foundations of our souls, until all that remains - the only things which are left standing - is that which cannot be shaken; that which is of Him.

There is a shaking coming to this world, but those who have their place in Jesus Christ will not be moved. I pray that God strengthen you and prepare you during this time. Grow not weary in well doing, for at the end, you will hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

  1. That video is and to most will be a hard pill to swallow. When I first started looking at it I was like "Not another one of these" But the more I watched it the more it started to make sense. By the end, the message was clear. Some people go through the motions but never complete the task. Some people pick and choose the way they live based on the bible. Some people only give 99%. And some people just don't get it at all, whether they choose to or not.

I heard a man say on TV "The smallest leak will sink the greatest of ships." A lot of people have small leaks which they fail to fix, and in the long run leads to their destruction. There are a lot of small leaks in people's faith/relationship/beliefs in GOD etc. This video covered aspects on a large scale as well as a small scale. I feel that before a person can be fully committed to GOD, they need to patch up there small leaks! No, it's not easy and no, it doesn't happen overnight for the most. BUT! There is a GOD; a true, loving, merciful GOD who is willing to help if you (people) will allow him to.

God gave people a free will to do as they choose. He's not making anyone do anything; including patching the small leaks in their boats. So All I can say is, "people be strong, put yourself aside and let GOD do his work. Don't be afraid to give ALL control to the LORD. Even if things seem a little crazy, TRUST IN THE LORD! And if you are having trouble JUST ASK!" I pray that everyone takes up there cross with Jesus and not turn back. If you fall get up and keep pressing forward!

I love you! And GOD loves you too unconditionally!!! So if you don't have it "RIGHT" with him, now is a good time to start! And people, people lol don’t always look for a reward here on earth. Yes GOD rewards some now, but, remember the reward that is the greatest is that which is in heaven... The Kingdom of GOD!

  2. Hey you guys.... this is part 2 of my last comment. For some reason it said my HTML was too long. I check it and it wasn't over 4,092 characters, so here are the verses that I wanted to share with you all that I think go along somewhat with this topic and may help you along the way:

    Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

    Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

    Matt. 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

    Matt. 7:7-11
7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

    Luke 6:38
Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

    Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

    Romans 8:31
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

    Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
    I Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

    Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

    James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

    James 2:23
And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, "and he was called God's friend.

  3. Hi Estes,

I know what you mean! At first, I was like, "Boy, another video about an angry God. OK, God has wrath and man is wretched. What else is new?"

I am not about scaring people and I am not into a bunch of emotionalism. But as I listened, I could feel the heart of this preacher and his words began to speak to me specifically.

I agree that this will be a hard pill to swallow for some. It was even hard for me to hear (although I listened to it about 10 times yesterday LOL). But I also think it is a message that many need to hear in this day and age where Christianity is more of a label than a lifestyle.

People (myself included) really need to consider what it means to belong to Jesus Christ. These are sobering times.

This video (particularly the message on the cross) birthed in my spirit a renewed urgency to be sincere before the Lord and to seek His face. It pricked my heart to cry out for His people, especially those who are lost (even while in the "church").

Thank you for adding to it with those selected Scriptures!

  7. Hi Anonymous,

Then consider this the time to turn, repent, and come to Christ. Many will find their way to Hell for most will choose the broad path, but you can forsake that way and choose the narrow.

Being a Christian is more than just having respect and admiration for Christ; it is obeying Him. Those who love Him obey His commands. Apart from that, then we are fooling ourselves.

May you make the right choose and choose eternal life.

  8. So, what do I do? Where do I start?
For years I thought I was born again but now after listening to Omega Ministries and reading this blog I don't think I've been really converted.
