If God Spared Not

A Wild Olive Tree

"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." Romans 11:22

Do you know that some people claim there is nothing one must do to stay in covenant with God after salvation? They say that after salvation, one is preserved in the faith by the power of God ONLY; that there is NOTHING one can do to lose that salvation once one has truly received Jesus Christ in faith.

Did you know that this position is completely unbiblical and directly opposes the word of God? God Himself tells us what we must do to stay in covenant with Him and promises that if we do not, we WILL be cut off. Further, God sets out in His word that this requirement is not a work at all.

Don't let people mislead you into thinking that you have no obligations in your covenant with God of salvation in faith through Jesus Christ.

Read God's words for yourself and let Him speak for Himself.
